Today we are bringing you a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 1st Birthday Party back from 2012. We always try to make the parties cute and fun while staying on a budget. We already had the cartidge for the Mickey and Friends on the cricut, which is where most of the decorations came from. The most time consuming of these decorations was the gluing!
The birthday banner and character cutouts were all made from the cricut!
The Mickey heads are a Chinese Lattern with ears added.
For the food, we made signs and added Disney stickers to the bottom. We had Mickey’s CLUBhouse Sandwiches and a Hot Diggity Dog Bar. For dessert, we had our local bakery (Smiths Marketplace) make the cupcakes and we added the toppers which were made from the cricut. This was an easy way to incorporate the theme without being so difficult and hard to make! Afterall, we don’t claim to be professional bakers! For the Mickey buttons we used vanilla yogurt raisins. For the cookies, we took a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter to another local bakery (Parsons) and they made the Mickey heads and the number 1.
This was such a fun party!
