We are so excited to share this party with y’all! We had way too much fun planning it. Some things didn’t go as originally planned, but the changes we had to make made it turn out even better! Today we will just post some pictures, and then we will do a follow up tutorial of all the little details in the next few days!
For decorations, of course it was all things Under the Sea. We made these adorable little sea creatures and they were the perfect touch! Watch for a tutorial on how to make these coming soon, or feel free to follow us to 😉
For dinner we did a delicious chicken taco salad bar, which y’all don’t need to see pictures of that! The dessert was the real fun! For the utensils, we put them in these fun paper bags for a quick and easy way to get all the necessities without carrying a big handful. We cut the tops with decorative scissors and added on the adorable clipart which we made in photoshop. We purchased the adorable sea clipart, which we also used to make the invites, here.
The banner was made from on the cricut from the Creature a Critter cartridges. We also made the centerpiece out of that same cartridges. For the water, we used blue crinkle paper and the sand is graham cracker crumbs.
And finally, the dessert. Not only was it adorable, but hello, look how cute and fun it was! We found the inspiration for these crab cookies here, but we opted to do cookies that we purchased at Dicks Market. Another good tip to keep the colors the same with the crabs, buy colored toothpicks and use the reds and oranges. One other thing we did differently on our crabs was cut the fuzzy peach claws in 4th instead of a crescent shape. The inspiration for our oyster cookies came from here. We choose to use Keebler Sandies cookies. We also found an amazing Betty Crocker Cake Icing canned spray frosting that made the frosting part soooo easy. For the pearl we used a sixlet. For the decorative candy jars, we used pearl sixlets, and the Goldfish Graham cookies. The purple cakes in the back were Little Debbie Jellyfish Marshmallow cookies.
